I just counted, and I think I only read 17 books in 2008. Really?? I thought it would be many more, especially since I'm currently on my third book of 2009 and it's February 1st. I guess one of last year's books was The Grapes of Wrath, and that should count for like four books.
I hereby set my 2009 goal at 30 books!

You count?!!?? I've officially decided NOT to count because I will just be depressed about the number and quality of books I do read--they tend to be silly mysteries with no real life changing moments in them (though I did read the Joan Dideon book from the book exchange--fantastic). This I deem to be a horrific side effect of having a job with too much drama in it--who can read about drama when you live with it everyday!?? : )
I started keeping a list in 2008 because I was tired to trying to remember what James Patterson book I read last! Then I added it to the blog, then (like most things with me) it became kind of an obsession. As I finished a book, I triumphantly added it to the list! You'll notice that they're not all "good" books!
